Website privacy controls
This page explains the technical controls on this website. It is not a complete privacy notice for client work and correspondence.
Browsing the portfolio
Optional Google Analytics is blocked until you allow it. Your analytics choice is stored locally for up to 180 days, solely to remember your preference. Refusing leaves the website accessible. Images are served with the site and fonts use your device’s available fonts. Delivering a webpage still requires connection data, such as an IP address, to reach the hosting infrastructure.
Optional Google Analytics 4
Lionel Heu (Taki Studio, Hilversum) uses Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-VNKEJHPGGS, to understand visits and improve this portfolio, only with your consent. Google processes visit and device/browser information and cookie identifiers. Your IP address is transmitted when connecting to Google. The tag is not loaded before consent; no analytics requests are sent on refusal. Advertising consent remains denied and Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled in the site configuration.
Analytics cookies _ga and _ga_VNKEJHPGGS have a configured lifetime of up to 180 days. The local preference taki.analytics.v1 also expires after 180 days. Page URLs sent by this configuration exclude query strings and fragments, and the referrer is left blank. Do not include personal information in URLs.
Use “Cookie settings” on any page, then “Reject / withdraw” to stop future collection and remove this site's Analytics cookies. The page reloads to unload Analytics. Withdrawal does not erase data already sent or affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. YouTube permissions are separate.
Google may process data outside the EEA. See Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from sites. The property's server-side retention and data-sharing settings require account-level verification; the cookie lifetime is not the same as Google's data-retention period.
For access, erasure or other data-rights requests, contact taki.thephotographe@gmail.com. You may also complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Optional YouTube videos
No embedded player is loaded before you choose “Allow this video”. You can refuse using “Keep blocked”. Both choices leave the rest of the website accessible. Permission applies to one video on the current page and is not saved after you leave or reload it.
Loading a player connects your browser to YouTube (Google), sending your IP address and browser information. YouTube may use cookies or similar storage. Read Google’s privacy policy before allowing playback.
To withdraw, return to the films section and select “Privacy settings / Stop videos”. This removes players from that page. Previously transmitted data and third-party cookies cannot be erased by this control; use your browser settings and the provider’s privacy controls.
Email and external services
Contact links open your email application; the site has no contact form or file upload. Nothing is emailed until you send it. Only include information needed to discuss your project, and avoid identity documents or sensitive information.
Instagram, WhatsApp and “Watch on YouTube” are external links, not embedded social feeds. Following them opens a third-party service with its own privacy practices. These links do not activate an embedded player on this site.
Privacy questions and image concerns
Email taki.thephotographe@gmail.com for privacy questions or concerns about an image. Include the page or image reference rather than unnecessary personal documents.
